NMA 3

Stefan Glaenzer, Chairman, LastFM

Becoming chairman of LastFM as part of its funding round, Glaenzer has been instrumental in turning a great idea into the one UK business spoken of in the same breath as the US giants of Web 2.0.

NMA 4

George Kidd, Chief executive, Icstis

Kidd worked to restore confidence in premium mobile after the high-profile problems with call TV and voting, introducing a code of practice and speeding up the organisation’s response times.

NMA 5

Jimmy Leach, Head of digital communications, Office of the Prime Minister

Leach brought new thinking about interactive media to the 10 Downing St website, introducing podcasts and web TV interviews with the PM.

NMA 6

James Murdoch, CEO, BSkyB

Murdoch turned Sky into a true multiplatform operation with the launch of Sky Broadband, Sky Anywhere and Sky Mobile, as well as continuing to drive take-up of interactive TV advertising.

NMA 7

Oxby championed innovation in mobile content, pushing areas such as flat-rate web browsing and ad-funded content, as well as tie-ups for the X-Series with the likes of Skype and Orb.

NMA 8

Ed Richards, Chief executive, Ofcom

Richards had a busy first year in the job but has continued to champion the idea of a Public Service Publisher, intended to unlock new forms of content that the private sector can’t deliver.
