We create sites that are elegant, engaging and easy to use.

Clearleft introduction:
We create sites that are elegant, engaging and easy to use.

We take a user-centered design approach, this means that you’ll make more money from your website than if you go to an agency that adopts a more traditional approach.  We do this by putting your customers first and making more than just a pretty site.  Our websites give organisations a serious competitive edge.  By understanding your business and listening to your customers, we create beautiful interactive experiences that deliver.

What we do:
We begin each project by learning about you and your business, your users and customers.  We listen to the needs of your organisation by running workshops and perform user research to bubble up needs and attitudes.  This provides us with a user-centered strategy leading to a significant return on your investment.

We shape the structure of your site by creating an efficient and useful architecture.  Our designs are flexible and simple whilst giving close attention to the details that matter: grids, typography, colour and interactivity.  We perform usability tests throughout the design process, using our own application Silverback, to keep the testing low cost but high impact.

We believe in the philosophy of web standards, accessibility and progressive enrichment.  Our websites are bullet proof and work for everyone.  They are also easy to implement and maintain.  We know that the launch of your site is just the beginning of the story, not the end.  We provide ongoing support, analysis and strategy to improve and add to existing functionality.

Workshops and conferences:
We feel it is important to share knowledge through the industry.  This is why we run two successful conferences each year.  UX London focuses on providing three days of inspirational talks and in-depth workshops.  dConstruct is a grass roots conference, bringing the industry’s leading thinkers to Brighton each September.  We also run a series of workshops throughout the year, ranging from Guerrilla Usability testing to CSS3 and HTML5.
