42% of European web users turn to internet for news
More than four in ten (42%) European internet users access news online, according to Jupiter Research.It revealed variations between countries, with online news consumed by 66% of internet users in Sweden, compared to 26% in Italy. In the UK it was 43%.Nick Thomas, lead analyst at Jupiter Research, said, “This is good news for newspaper sites.”
