LoveFilm drives online ad sales by opening up site to non-subscribers

LoveFilm has set its sights on becoming the key UK film portal by encouraging non-subscribers to use its website to increase ad revenues.The DVD rental specialist's move will place it in direct competition with other leading film sites, such as Empireonline, Total Film, Odeon and Time Out, which have all expanded their offerings in the past 12 months.While LoveFilm - which distributes in excess of 3m DVDs a month from a catalogue of 65,000 titles - already has user ratings ...
