Social enterprise agency Livity has appointed Ben Maxwell as its first head of concept, strategy and digital, responsible for digital marketing, audience engagement and co-creation. This will include working on new business as well as existing accounts such as the BBC, O2 and Penguin. Prior to joining Livity, Maxwell worked at Onzo, where he was head of digital, leading digital strategy, customer insight and user experience.
Mobile network InMobi has appointed former ComScore executive James Lamberti as VP of global research and marketing. He previously worked for QuantiView and Topspin.
Family marketing specialist Kids Industries has hired Gemma Smith as head of digital. She rejoins Kids Industries from GMTV, where she was digital project manager.
Digital agency Holler has appointed Jonathan Fraser to the newly created role of head of strategy. He joins from Naked where he was senior strategist.
Slicethepie, a financing platform for the music industry, has appointed Travis Baxter as director and Jonathan Bunis as COO and strategic development director. Baxter previously worked at Bauer Media and Bunis joins from Tradefair.
Marketing agency Wunderman has appointed Charles Billot as marketing director, reporting to CEO Brendan Tansey. He has previously held the same position at The BIO Agency, TBWA\GGT and Soup.
The News of the World has promoted Rachel Richardson to digital editor. She joined the tabloid in 2002 and has been executive editor of the Fabulous supplement since February last year.
Mobile marketing agency Amobee has recruited Salem Lassoued as sales director. He was previously head of business development and global ad sales at Buongiorno Digital.
Gareth Philips has been appointed CEO of 20:20 Media&Analytics, not Digital Marketing Group, as reported last week. 20:20 Media&Analytics is part of 20:20, which is owned by Digital Marketing Group.
Digital creative agency Collective has bolstered its London team with nine appointments. Owen Roberts joins as senior art director and Murray Allen as senior designer, both from LBi. Nick Dunn moves from Airlock, where he was technical lead, to be a senior developer at Collective, while Alessandra Cabra becomes account director, having worked for Publicis Modem. PJ Jones has also been appointed a project manager and Frances Jenkins an account executive. Jones joins from Reading Room while Jenkins previously worked at disability charity Leonard Cheshire Disability. Designer Matthew Kempton joins from We Are Vi, research analyst Joe Fry has just completed a PhD, and new business executive Gareth Bench-Capon was a freelance contractor.
Digital agency Start Asia has hired Sara Earnshaw as digital strategist. She joins from Digitas London where she was a project manager.
