Dining community and restaurant reservation service Toptable has appointed Carl Lyons as marketing director. He will be involved in Toptable’s international expansion as well as its mobile and social media strategy. Lyons leaves his role as digital marketing director at Bauer Media. Previously he was launch marketer of Lastminute.com and has also worked at Guinness, Capital Radio and The Guardian.

Digital agency McCormack & Morrison has appointed Zoe James as head of production. She was previously project manager at Poke.

BARB, the audience measurement service, has promoted Simon Bolus from research manager to research director.

Digital agency AKQA has appointed Mark Nicholson and Mat Fox to the senior creative team. Both were previously creatives at TBWA London.

Marketing agency LBi has appointed Georgina Coates as online PR manager, Sanne Martens as user researcher and Jon Attaway as long copywriter. Coates was account manager at Threepipe PR, Martens was design researcher at Motorola, while Attaway joins from marketing agency Critical Mass/Enfatico.

Social media agency Nudge Social Media has hired Guillaume Foutry as social media strategist. He was previously new media marketing specialist at 77Agency.

Creative communications agency Initials has appointed Craig Lawrie as head of digital marketing. He leaves a similar position at Billington Cartmell.

Digital agency Clusta has hired Penny Dixon as senior digital planner. She was previously digital planner at Saint@RKCR/Y& R.

Travel insurer Insurewithease has recruited Sarah Taylor as online marketing manager. She previously held the same position at Drakefield Insurance.

Creative digital production company Disqo has hired Helen Tucker-Lalloo as senior project manager. She leaves the same position at Dare.

Epsilon International, the email marketing services provider, has promoted Richard Wright from marketing manager to marketing director for the EMEA region.

Digital music service mFlow has hired Kerry Newman as brand manager and Pete Trainor as product development manager. Newman was strategic marketing manager at Warner Music, and Trainor was head of user experience at Tequila London.

Interactive agency MRM London has promoted Ian McDowall from head of project management to head of technology.

Digital communications agency I-D Media London has promoted Patrick O’Donovan to MD. He was client relationship director.
